12-16 servings
100 g butter
2 1/2 dl sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 dl flour
3 tbsp. quality cocoa powder
1 tsp. vanilla extract


Icing sugar

Serve with:

Whipped cream, vanilla ice cream or berries

How to make the damn thing:

Set your oven to 175°C. Melt the butter in a sauce pan. Turn off the heat when melted.
Stir in the flour and sugar, mix thouroghly. Mix remaining ingredients and make sure that the batter is silky smooth.
Pour the batter into a buttered and bread crum lined baking plate with a detatchable egde/wall. It should be as close to 24 cm in diameter as possible.
Bake in the middle of the oven approx. 20 min. The Kladdkaka is done when the surface is rather hard, but the center must remain a bit runny. Let the Kladdkaka cool down a bit.
Powder with icing sugar. Serve with whipped creame or vanilla ice cream and berries.
